Why is legal-sized paper not an option in Excel 2007?

I just got a new computer with Windows XP and MS Office 2007 Professional. In
both Excel and Access, the only paper size available to select is "Letter"
(8.5"x11"). Not only are there no other available paper sizes to select, it
will also not allow me to create custom paper sizes. I REALLY need "Legal"
(8.5"x14")! The weird thing is that I can open legal-sized documents created
in previous versions of Excel and then the other paper sizes appear in the
available list. Is there a quick download or fix for to give me the rest of
the standard paper sizes?

I already tried that; unfortunately, it didn't work. FYI, I have access to
several networked printers and one direct printer. Changing printers also
doesn't work. Thanks for trying to help though!

What paper sizes does the printer setup screen (Properties button on the print
dialog) offer you? If you select Letter there, does it trickle through to the
page setup screen?
