Why is Microsoft Brain Dead / Lagging behind on a simple feature

Look Microsoft....you are huge in the Messaging department of software. Why
are you so limited in Outlook to 1,000 auto complete entries in your NK2
files and why can't you figure out how to pull from Contacts in REAL
TIME...instead of having to "ctrl-k" all the dang time.

Heck simple phones these days query databases to pull from your contacts in
real time as you type.

Also why don't you develope a better system for NK2 entries. If it's a
database problem.....build a better database.

I can't beleive that from 1997 till almost 10 years latter you still
struggle with the simple aspect of auto completing addresses not only in the
NK2 file....but also from your CONACT address book (that is LIKELY CACHED ON
THE LOCAL MACHINE).

Heck, 3rd party PIMs with Exchange connectors do this...and thus why I am
recommending those over Outlook (saving money on licenses as well)....and
simply ditching more advanced but not used often features of calendar
comparisons etc.

The most imporant feature of a PIM (AN INFORMATON MANAGER) is to handle
contacts and recently used addresses in a LOGICAL way.

You have do not and the logic and limitations of your software has pushed at
least me away from using your product.

People are wondering with all the space, cpu power and time has Microsoft
yet to address an issue that has plauged Outlook for almost 10 years! Get
real!

This is a user-to-user newsgroup, so you are addressing your fellow
Outlook users, not Microsoft.
