why is my arrow (pointer) turn to a green box?

The arrow on my mouse turns into a green box and will not go away unless I
restart
the computer. The green transparent box comes when I look @ surveillance
cameras. I can still use the green box as the pointer, but it is awkward.
Once I
sign off and restart the computer it goes away.Is there something on the
camera
system causing the problem?

From your description, it almost certainly is something in the security camera
software. Also, it almost certainly has nothing to do with Word. You'll probably
have to contact the security software company for troubleshooting help.

Almost certainly they are using Flash for remote viewing and it is the way
they programmed. Certainly nothing to do with Word!
