Why is my computer missing letters when I type them?

Frustrated

When I type words, the computer does not register all of them on th monitor,
it even misses the space bar. On this message I have had to retype 8 letter
and spaces. I had this problem two wees ago for thee weeks and it magically
went away by itself and now it is back again, ony worse.

I don't believe it is a hardware problem.

Please help.
