Why is my Outlook 2002 so slow

Recently, I have noticed that my Outlook is running very, very much slower
than it did for years before, & hangs for up to 30 seconds. What might have
changed to cause this?

There are many reasons why applications may slow down after time. But
it's not the application itself that gets slow; it is the environment.
- Your HD may be filling up; use a cleanup tool (http://www.ccleaner.com/)
- Your HD maybe strongly fragmented; defragment it
- Your memory may be too small (due to new programs)
- Your page file may be too small
- Your computer may be infected with malware
- Your Internet connection may be slow (at times)
