Why is my Outlook 2003 set as a web-based service?

I cannot add folders to my inbox because it says it is not allowed in a
web-based account. I don't understand why it is web-based.

Are you using Hotmail? If so, it's a web-based account.

It is an msn.com e-mail account that is set up inteh account - can I get it
out of web-based?

I don't think MSN offers any other option.
