Why is name with S, coming up at top after a sort?

Version: 2004
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Power PC

I sorted by companies, and Company with an S name is coming at top. Everything esle is fine, But I can't figure this one out. thanks!

Might there be a space before the S?
