Office Outlook 2003 shows the correct meeting times on my PC, but my handheld
ipaq 1715 shows altered times after synchronization with microsoft active
sync. Both devices have the Central Time Zone chosen in the settings and
choosing "automatically adjust for daylight savings time" simply changes the
correct times that are already in my calendar on the PC. The only way that I
have found to address this is by altering my time zone in my handheld, which
allows for correct meeting times to be posted, but then the current time
shown is always off by one hour. The ipaq does not allow me to choose
"automatically adjust for daylight saving time" as an option.
This also causes a huge problem if I enter data into the handheld instead of
my PC. Then, after synchronization, the items entered on my handheld are
listed at correct times on my handheld and are changed when they synchronize
to my PC.
What can I do so that my appointment times will be accurate on both? This
is my second handheld ipaq and I had absolutely no trouble with the first one.
