Why is outlook deleting previous appointments in outlook calendar?

[extremely frustrated]

I have lost previous months appointments in the outlook calendar and cannot
figure out why. I have a blackberry synchronized with it and have also lost
these appts. Im very frustrated and can't seem to fix it.

What are your auto-archive settings in Outlook? Do you have the Blackberry
set to only show xx months of appts? What controls Outlook, desktop or BB?

After furious head scratching, extremely frustrated asked:

Unless you changed the default on the BB, it deletes appointments over 60
days - when they are deleted on the device, they are deleted in outlook on
the next sync.
