Hello
I have an FTP Windows server running on my computer (for personal use only=
me)
I have noticed that when I get an email, open it and right click on my name,
the first thing that is displayed in the menu which becomes visible is my
name and email address followed by a number of choices.
But when the email comes from a company and I do the same thing, I get
fttp://dave neve: "my password for my server"@ "name of
computer".serverftp.net
Not only am I surprised that Outlook has this info as it doesn't use FTP
protocol as far as I know but worried as it displays my password as well.
Just what I need, to email my password to hundreds of people!!!!!!!!!!
So
What is this info doing in Outlook?
Can it be retrieved by another person esp if I reply to a company email?
Is this a bug or even a trojan or just normal for Outlook?
This all started when I opened up a suspect email by mistake and then looked
at it in detail to see if there was anything strange in it.
But the situation above seems to apply to other emails which were already on
my computer before the suspect one.
Thanks in advance
