Why is picture manager opening templates instead of e-mailed pic

A graphics artist sent by email new graphics for our logo. She had used a Mac
to design the graphics. Now whenever you attempt to open any picture
attachment to an email it shows hundreds of graphic templates and will not
open the picture that comes by email. I have deleted cookies and files in an
effort to maybe clear out some temp. internet files that were causing this
problem but still cannot open an e-mailed picture in Microsoft Picture
Manager without first saving it to the desktop and opening it that way. Any
suggestions???

Might delete the Picture Manager thumbnails, they can be deleted without any
harm. The Picture Manager will re-create them when you open specific folders.
They are in a hidden folder similar to this:
C://Documents and Settings/<<user>>/Local Settings/Application
Data/Microsoft/OIS

I tried that once before, went back just now and tried it and the only thing
it does is take it from a picture manager file to an unsupported file still
showing 100 little boxes with red x's in them. Any other suggestions?

I'd suggest asking this in an Outlook newsgroup. What is the format of the
attachment? Is the associations correct? Right-click the file, properties, opens
with...change.
