Why is text grayed out when I open Visio diagram?

Starting yesterday, when I open a Visio diagram the text is grayed out. I
can only read the text if I magnify the diagram to 200%. Before yesterday,
the text was always readable. Does anyone know what to do?

menu Tools -> Options
tab View
in the 'Greek text under' box set the value to 4 point or similar.
