Why is the opportunity quantity limitted to 10000

Because it's intended for the really small business segment and we work in
smaller quantities?

While I'm only joking about the smaller quantities part and the limit is
really 5 digits, or 99,999, they have limits in BCM in part because it's
intended for really small businesses and larger businesses are expected to
upgrade to a more full featured CRM product.

BTW - the 5 digit limit remains in v2. You should repost this as a
suggestion on the communities interface so that BCM users can vote on it -
if enough people agree, we just might see a digit or two increase.
