Why is the value I've selected in the multiple selection box for anenterprise Project field RED?

I have an enterprise Project field called "Affiliates Impacted" with
multiple checkbox selection (4 for each of out institutions).

I create a project, go to Project Information and select the first on
in the list and when I return to the Project Info field list, the
value I've just selected is RED.

What is the dad-gum deal? Please let me know what "bit I need to
flip" to get rid of this annoyance.

If you want to make a feature of it I guess its a feature if not then
its possibly a bug - that said I agree its a little disconcerting as
it suggests and error has been made.
