If I insert a WMV video file into a PowerPoint 2003 presentation and set it
to start automatically, there is about a 10 second delay when the slide is
opened before the movie finally starts to play. However, if I insert a MPG
version of the same movie, it will start to play as soon as the slide is
opened.
I would think that PowerPoint should work better with the Windows media file
than with an MPG. I have several clips to insert and the finished product
needs to fit on a CD. The MPG files will be too large to do this, so that is
why I am trying to use the smaller WMV files.
Any ideas?
