Why is there a nagging delay when I use Mac Excel?

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

For example, I am using the mouse wheel to scroll down in a document in Mac Excel, there is a delay before the document scrolls.

I use Windows Excel every day, and all of the functions are instantaneous. When you scroll in Windows Excel, you scroll immediately.

Am I the only one out there noticing this problem?

One more thing, does anyone else have a serious problems with F2 missing from Mac Office. F2 in Windows Excel, allows you to edit the cell. I didn't realize how dependent I was on F2, till I used Mac Office.

I want Mac Office to kick but, but I slowly getting more and more disappointed.

I haven't noticed this. What type of mouse wheel, and have you checked
to make sure its drivers are updated?

One more thing, does anyone else have a serious problems with F2 missing from

Yeah, when MS ported Excel from Mac to PC, I was really pissed off when
they didn't port the keyboard shortcuts as well.

Fortunately, CTRL-u still works to edit the cell, which you could find
by searching for "Excel Keyboard Shortcuts" in Help ("Working in cells
or the Formula bar" section).
