Why is there data missing from an dbase IV file exported from an .

I've tried to export a table from an Access 2000 database to dBase IV and no
matter how I do it the same fields are missing from the resulting Dbase IV
File. The files are successfully created (dbf, dbt, ) but the dbf file has
missing data and some of the missing data is in the dbt file. It doesn't
matter whether I use the File -> export method, Transfer Database, or use DAO
and SQL the result is the same: an incomplete dbf file. I've been able to
get excel to do exactly what I want by exporting the Access table as a
comma-delimited file, importing it into an Excel spreadsheet and thn
exporting it from excel as a dbase IV file. The problem is that some of the
Access Tables I will need to export are larger than the Excel limit for
number of Rows. I would appreciate any help any of you can give me. I've
searched the Internet but I can find no mention of the problem I'm having
with Access. The Tables have about 53 fields. Thanks!!!!
