Why is what's on the screen different from what's printing?

I had about 10 pages of Labels in Word 2003. I would periodically change the
content of some labels or move them around. I've worked with this document
without problem for months. All of a sudden, when I printed, certain labels
on the last two pages were blank. It looks fine on the screen, but on paper
or Print Preview, certain labels were blank. It's almost as if the font is
set as white, so I tried changing the font color to black, but that doesn't
work. I tried saving it under another name. I tried cutting and pasting one
page into a new document. I cut and pasted just the name and address in one
label and pasted it into a new Word document, and it doesn't print. However,
when I pasted it into Excel, it prints. What in the world is happening? I've
never had such a problem in all my years of using word.

Possibly these labels were created as text boxes? If so, make sure that
"Drawing objects" is checked on the Print tab of Tools | Options.
