Why it is a sin to open Microsoft Outlook twice?!

If you happen to have 2 Microsoft Outlook profiles, one for your personal
email, and one for your business email, then it is strictly forbidden to open
them at the same time, it is so forbidden that Microsoft have put all their
development effort to prevent that :)

If you want to switch between Outlook Profiles (Multiple Accounts) you must
close outlook and open it again, otherwise Microsoft will not be happy!

This was back in Windows 3.11 before it was called outlook, and it continued
until today.

During all these years, or decade and something, many people complained, and
their complains have been ignored.

I am wondering, when you hire a new developer to the outlook team at
Microsoft, what level of idiotism is required?

The VAST majority of Outlook installations occur in organisations where the
user connects to MS Exchange Server and has ONE email address. I would also
suggest that the number of home users who require more than one profile is
relatively small - too small to make a re-write of the code commercially
viable....IMHO....

There was a recent article in a PC publication that gave a link to a
file/hack? that enabled the running of two seperate instances of OL
(vista/winxp, OL 2003/2007)
