Why my free trial is greyed out and can't do anything?

I want to modify my resume in my new trial version, but I can't do it,
everything is greyed out. Any advice?

Has it expired? Have you activated it if it hasn't expired?

Once the Trial has expired, you may only use it as a reader. You need to
buy the software if you like it enough to use it.

Either your free trial period has expired or you failed to activate it.
If the former, uninstall it then buy Office from eg amazon.com, or use the
free 'Open Office'
