why my mouse doesn't work on Word

Accidentally, my mouse doesn't work in the document but work on all menu
bars. I can use only arrow keys

The usual reason is that you have corrupted the Word Data Key in the
registry. Deleting the Data Key should resolve the problem.

Run Regedit, navigate to the key and delete it. Word will automatically
recreate the key when it is next started.

Ok, I posted on another thread, but this seems to have worked for me. Can't
Microsoft add this to their diagnostics program, or at least to their check
solution online service?
