Why my website won't work in Firefox or Safari?

Q. Why won't it work in those other browsers?
A. Because you are using non-standard code that is not supported in
other browsers.

Do a vew source and you will see what it is.

In my opinion, FrontPage is the best and easiest web page editor
around. As with all editors, you have to know what will work in
different browsers, and on different platforms.
Links in VML TextBoxes will not work in non-ie browsers.

VML graphics are Internet Explorer only. If you were designing a web
site for use on an intranet, where every user has Windows and Internet
Explorer, then VML graphics can be wonderful. But for an internet
site, they are best avoided.
There are alternatives to VML graphics - convert images (WordArt and
ShapeArt) to real .gifs or .jpgs with an image editor, and use layers
instead of text boxes - but learn how to use layers first, they can
also turn into real problems.

It looks to me that this was designed in Word (or worse yet Publisher)
In the head of the first page is.....

<!--[if !mso]>
<style>
v\:* { behavior: url(#default#VML) }
o\:* { behavior: url(#default#VML) }
..shape { behavior: url(#default#VML) }
</style>
<![endif]--><!--[if gte mso 9]>
<xml><o:shapedefaults v:ext="edit" spidmax="1027"/>
</xml><![endif]-->

Internet Explorer knows what a mso (Microsoft Office) document is but other
browsers don't and could care less.

You need to make the pages in FrontPage! Then they will display right.

BTW: Please don't put hyperlinks in a "text box"... Use a table or something
else.

Since there is nothing much on your first page I re-made it using FrontPage.
(about 3 min)
Demo here..
http://www.xmas-i-am.com/test/eyedemo.htm
Notice that when viewed in a browser (any) it fits nicely from 800x600 to
larger viewports.
Everything is centered in the page.
If you want, view the source of the page, OR in IE click on the edit (with
FrontPage) and bring the page into you computer. (when it asks for a
password just click cancel)
Another way would be to use the File | "Save As" and save it to your hard
Drive.
If you compare the code on your page to the demo page you might "See" what
we are talking about.

BTW: The Enter link will take you to your Page (aboutus)

Hope this might Help some....

Thanks for the advise. The website was created in Frontpage and not Word or
publisher. That's what made it confusing to me....

That is a problem when using the "Word Art" stuff..
It looks SOoooo good in IE but not in others.. and causes way too many
problems.

I just hope that the demo gave you renewed hope as to how easy it can be
done..
Just replace with images and maybe colored background tables and it should
work in "all" Browsers.

Good Luck!

Correct. Never use text-boxes. They are rubbish, and standard HTML
and CSS provides several alternatives that work in most, if not all,
browsers and across all platforms.
