Why no manuals

I went to my favorite book seller and browsed the 100 or so feet of computer
manuals but no books on MS Publisher. Lots of books on Office, Word, Excel,
Power Point etc but not a single one on Publisher!


What's up with that?

We've all said the same thing. I have "Using Microsoft Office 2003" by Ed
Bott and Woody Leonhard. It has about 30 pages of help and that's the most
I've ever seen on the subject. Thirty pages out of 1300+ isn't much tho, is

A member of my church who I recently helped with creating the church's
Annual Report in Publisher (he'd never used it before), just bought a book
on Publisher down in Waterstones. It looked pretty impressive -
full-colour, quite a thick volume, and seemed to describe all the important
areas (from just flicking through it). I'll try and get the name and ISBN
for you

Barnes & Noble's "in easy steps" series includes a 192-page booklet
"Publisher 2003" which is helpful, especially for beginners, although
for previous Publisher users it's not overly comprehensive.
