why the project is not appearing in create new tasks page ?

Hi,

I have added the user in new and blank project . and allow him to create a
task from project web access create new task option but the project is not
appearing in the drop down list of this page .

although i have publish all project plan and all types of publish but I dont
know what is wrong .

pls tell me the solution

Your problem is that the project contains no tasks. Create at least one
task, assign the resource to the task, and then publish the project. From
that point forward, the team member will be able to create new tasks from
his/her PWA timesheet. Hope this helps.

I have done this but still I cant create new tasks because project is not
appearing in the project drop down.
although other resources can select the project from the drop down . because
I have add those only in project not assign tasks to them and they can
select the project and create new tasks in those project.

Is this user a member of more than one security Group other than the Team
Members group? If so, that might be the cause of the problem. And if so,
you should remove him/her from the other Groups? Let us know.

no the user is only in one security group and still the project is not
appearing in that drop down in create new task page.
