Why the translator change?

Can someone please tell me why Google changed the Translator so it's
now more awkward to use?? I can't even highlight the translated text
without it also highlighting the original text. If this Translator was
an auto, it's like someone took the car into the repair shop, and it
was returned to the owner in much worse shape.

How the hell can Google do this?? Are they even aware of this change
that made their translator much more difficult and imprecise to use??

Google's user competence detector has kicked in. Once it decides that
any German speaker is this good at English it sets the "this boy is on
his own" flag.
