Why vcard vs forward a contact?

What is the difference between forwarding a contact and using vcards to send
the information. (Outlook 2003 in house) Which would be better for us to
use? Is there compatibility issues between vcard and other email clients
that may not exist in just forwarding?

Thanks for any help.

vCard is a format for Internet data exchange. It does not include all the information that Outlook stores about a contact. In house, you should exchange contacts not vCard .vcf files. Vice versa for outside.
