Why when forwarding or Replying Signature appears sometimes only?

signature is setup to automatically be inserted in message when sending a
message and when forwarding and replying to a message. Yet, when replying or
forwarding a message, the signatures appears sometimes and sometimes it
doesn't. Any ideas why?
