Why wont all of my calendar appoinments publish to my web calendar

Using Outlook 2007, when i published my calendar my class schedule
appoinments did not publish. I imported my class schedule from a vCal file.
all the other appointments that i had entered manually into outlook did
publish. i cant find any sort of setting or option to see if the class
schedule appointments need soe sort of persmission adjusting in order to be
published. conversely when i'm viewing my calendar within outlook i can right
click and get the editing options for the appoinments i've entered manually
but i get nothing when i right click the appointments imported from the vCal
file. What's up?
