Within application (Excel) I can switch to adobe PDF (Print Driver) in
Print menu.
Click print.
setup choose save location.
the adobe conversion Icon (from document to .ps) bounces in the "dock".
Then the ps to pdf icon bounces in the "dock"
wait 30 seconds or so after they disappear. Nothing happens.
If you drop the file on the Adobe PDF created Desktop Printer.
excel comes on makes a Pop (have excel set to give audiable feedback).
Blinks for split second pops again goes away.
again the doc to ps icon and ps to pdf icon bounces (in turn) in "Dock".
within a few seconds a pdf document appears.
This was identical in Acrobat 6 now in 7
Why?

I can do as above in word and actually create a PDF.
