Why won't Excel open?

I have recently unused programs from my PC and now when I try to open Excel
(MS Office 2000 Professional) it tries to configure and asks for disk. Office
was already installed on my PC on delivery and Office disks were not
supplied. Is there any way I can get Excel back without system restore or
will I have to buy new disks?
