Why won't fonts appear properly in slideshow?

I tried embedding fonts from the original presentation and used "pack and go"
to transport my powerpoint presentation to another computer. When I open the
file on the second computer, the fonts appear correct in the preview pane
main window for all of the slides. However, when I try to play the
presentation in a slideshow, the fancy fonts change to arial and times new
roman and whatnot. Does anyone know how to correct this? Thanks.

The font licensing might not allow embedding. Can you test by opening the
PPT file on the other computer (in PPT, not from the CD) and go to Format |
Replace Fonts. Do any of the fonts have ? in front of them?
