why won't my embedded wav music play in powerpoint 2007?

I have inserted a music file into my powerpoint 2007 presentation. It is a
wav file and shows that it is imbedded into the presentation (not linked).
The music will play when I first insert it. However it will not play again -
in preview or presentation. Please help.
