Why won't my Enter key work?

why. At first I thought it was because it had food in it
so I took the key out and it is fine. Also the other enter
key did not work either (the one on the number pad) I have
a Dell with Windows XP with cable. Does anyone know what
is wrong with it. Also it doesn't just not work in word it
doesn't work anywhere does anyone know how I can fix it?
