Why won't my pc find updates

[Office 03 updates?]

When I try to run office updates, a message keeps occurring that say unable
to find updates on my pc. So I tried to install the Office program again just
incase it missed something the first time. Than another message appears
saying unable to open patch package.I can't update because somthing else
can't be opens. How can I remedy this problem?

Office 03 updates,
Possibly would have been easier to just clear your IE cache and add the
update site url to the trusted site zone.
Since you did an un/re install and recieved the patch package error, you can
try this utility:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;290301
to clean your Windows installer information for Office, then reinstall.
