I have an Exchange 2003 and users with Outlook 2003 cached mode.
When you take your laptop home and open Outlook, it goes offline - of course
by design.
But when you put it on the network the next day at work, it sometimes keeps
on being offline. I want it to automatically switch to online when it feels
the network. It doesn't. I have checked the settings under Microsoft Exchange
Server, it is set to 'Find the connection automatically'.
Is it by design that Outlook not by itself can go back to Online/Connected
when put back on the network?
It works fine when my users switch off 'Work offline', but often the don't
see that it is offline and then they don't get their mail.
