Why would front page tell me a jpeg is an unsupported file form?

I have never had trouble inserting pics into front page until this morning.
Now I'm getting a msg telling me that it doesn't support my file form--a
jpeg. I've tried using gif s and it gives me the same msg. Any ideas?

I work for an auction company and am trying to insert a picture into a sale
bill that will be posted on our website.

Is the sales bill a html file and is the image already imported into the web site?

The only thing that's different with this bill is that these pics came off a
different camera than the other pics have. I'm not sure why that would make
a difference, but it obviously does since I did another bill today and
inserted pics from our usual camera with no problems. Don't know if the file
is an html or not, but the images are not already imported into the web site.

I'm wondering if the format may be the new JPEG 2000 file format. This file
format is not widely supported in browsers, and may therefore not be
supported in FrontPage. You can read more about it here:

I have run into that now and again (where the format wasn't support) and
opened up the image in Irfanview and resaved it.
