Why would "paste button image" be greyed out for entire toolbar?

Does anyone know what could be causing this? I'm trying to change
toolbar images on my PowerPoint 2000 but they all seem to be greyed
out. I know that there are quite a few image buttons where that is
the case by default, but not all buttons.

Thanks for any help. :eek:D

That might mean something different to you than it does to me.

No. Just the wrong name for the standard toolbar.
If it's docked, click and drag the little vertical bars at the far left of
the bar; drag it off into the middle of the PPT window. Now you'll be
able to see its name in the blue title bar above the toolbar. What does
it say there?

And what procedure are you following to change teh images?

I was just trying to change the button images, that's all. I don't
know what happened but after rebooting the next day, all off a sudden
all the button icon commands were no longer greyed out and I was able
to edit them as per normal <shrug>. Go figure.

Don't know what caused the glitch to begin with but if this ever
happens again, I'll try rebooting first to see if that fixes the
problem again.

Thanks.
