RE: subject - I was checking Windows updates. I have not done any for some
time . You recommended I install service pak 1.1
I have service pak 2!! Of course there was an error !! Once Telus let me
install service pak 2 there are no problems i know of. Windows xp has lots
of problems and I don't know how to fix it. Then again Microsoft does not
either !!

More likely you were asked for MS Office service pack 1, which not
surprisingly is NOT the same as MS Windows XP service pack 1.. look at the
names..

Part of your inability to fix problems is because you choose to misread
information given to you..
