Widescreen laptop projection problem

Hi!

I have a widescreen laptop and a projector with a normal 4:3 aspect ratio.
My powerpoint presentations are set up in 4:3 aspect yet when projected they
are cropped. Any ideas why?

On your laptop, what are the settings for the second display? Is it set to
the same pixel resolution as the laptop screen or is it set to 1024x768?

Start => Control Panel => Display => Settings => Select display 2 =>
Resolution Slider

Thanks for the reply Bill. The laptop is set at 1280x800 and the second is
set to 800x600. Should they be equal?
