Widow/Orphan control

I would like to turn this function off--have unchecked it numerous times, but
it keeps showing up again! I tried turning it off through Styles, but have
had no success. Any suggestions?? Thanks! Janice

Have you tried clearing the "Widow/orphan control" option for the
Normal style? This would affect all styles based on that style.
Alternatively, you can make the change for the styles you actually
use.

Note that changes to a style is for the current document only, unless
you check the "Add to template" option (in the Modify Style dialog
box).
