Widow/Orphan Control

Does anyone know why widow/orphan control in Word 2002 might not work? We are
working on a large document at work, and in the document body as well as some
tables within the document (that take up several pages), widow/orphan control
is not working although it is turned on.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Widow/orphan control never works in a table. You can turn off "Allow rows to
break across pages" in Table | Table Properties | Row, but that's not exactly
the same as widow/orphan control. Widow/orphan control should always work in
the document body though... are you sure the affected paragraphs have
widow/orphan control turned on?
