we created 2 calendars and we assign each calendar to separate tasks in the same summary task, one of the calendar just have 2 working days (Monday, Tuesday) and other calendar have 3 working days( Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) when we review working hours for each member (resources) from task usage is correct but when we publish the project when we review the resources availability we found the calendar is not correct and starting with wrong days

I’m using MS Project professional with MS Project server, our issue is we created 2 calendars and we assigned each calendar to separate task in the same summary task, one of the calendar just have 2 working days (Monday, Tuesday) and other calendar have 3 working days ( Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) when we review working hours in task usage report we get all tasks have correct working hours, after that we made publish for the project, when we review the resource availability view in MS project web we find the working hours for our tasks is wrong (working hours for first calendar display all days is working days not just (Monday, Tuesday) and other calendar show the all days is working days not just (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday)

Saeed:

If I understand you correctly, you are applying these calendars as "task
calendars." Task calendars do not have any affect on resource capacity. The
scheduled work should appear in the resource assignments view and
"Availability" or "remaining capacity" should reflect any scheduled work,
but the "working days" displayed in the view will always be dictated by the
resource calendar and remain unaffected by task calendars. For instance,
when you force a resource to work on a nonworking day by using a task
calendar to override the resource calendar, capacity for that resource on
the nonworking day remains zero, despite the fact that the system now
schedules the work on a nonworking day. Does this address your issue? If
not, please provide more explanation.
