Wierd symbol in body of emails. (IP)

Hi all,
I have a user who has this symbol appearing next to every line of emails
(IP, not really and I and a P but a symbol wich resembles this) the recipient
of his emails do not see it though. It looks as if he may have toggled on
some sort of option to show line breaks or something. How would I turn this
off? Ge is on XP, Outlook 2003.

Just click the Pilchrow mark (¶) in the Standard Word toolbar to toggle that
off.
