Wierdness in roaming profiles and .pst files

I have my users set for roaming profiles on my network and usually this works
pretty well. All documents and settings are easily transfered between
workstations. However, it appears that the one thing that isn't being
transferred is the ~application data\microsoft\outlook\*.pst files in the
profile and at the moment I can't figure out why.

I may be missunderstnding you; but you are aware MS doesnt suport the use of
a pst over a LAN as it can give rise to corruption of the pst?

the effect in detail.

I didn't know it would purposefully not sync the folders in question to the
server. This is a bit of broken dysfunctionality and I'll have to move my
users to another client application to keep them from the possibility of loss
from a disaster recovery standpoint.
