This seems like such a simple thing, but I must be using the wrong
search terms as I haven't been able to find anything for this.

I'm getting a bunch of spam today with subject lines of:

"It's InsertNameHere :)"

I want to create an inbox rule to delete these messages.

The only rule I seem to be able to set up in Outlook 2003 is:
Subject contains "It's" OR ":)"

I want either:
Subject Contians "It's" AND ":)"
-or-
Subject contains "It's * :)"

Is there any way to create this type of rule?

Thanks!
Glenn

Nope. Outlook can't handle either of those forms. Rules have no wildcards.
However, you can simulate it with multiple rules. See this:

Thanks Brian. The AND condition sure does seem like a strange thing to
leave out of a filtering system! I guess what I really wanted was a
regular expression - maybe Outlook 2011...
