Wildcard Search for any digit followed by closing paranthesis, e.g.6)

Dear Experts:

I would like to do a wildcard search for any digit followed by a
bracket.

That is what I entered in the find dialog box (with wildcard option
checked):
"[0-9][\)]"

The trouble is, this search also finds expressions such as (1987) or
(2003). I would like to exclude those, that is only expressions such
as 6) or 45) are to be found (only expressions with the closing
paranthesis).

Any help is much appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.

Regards, Andreas

Hi Andreas,

Try: "[!\(]<[0-9]{1,}\)"
This will find any string of digits followed by ')' but not preceded by '('.
