Will a font with a .suit extension work on a PC in word?

a friend sent me a font (Ms. Eaves) which i need for my wedding invites...
However, the extension is '.suit' and won't install into my fonts folder.
help?

My guess is the extension is actually .sit. This is a Stuffit file from a
Mac. Stuffit is a compression utility comparable to WinZip for Windows.
You'll need to find a way to uncompress it; if you don't have a utility that
will do it, ask the friend to send you the font uncompressed or using .zip
compression.

According to http://www.fileinfo.net/extension/suit, it is a Mac
format, but not the same as .sit. As far as I know, there is no
program on Windows that can open it.
