Will excel work igf I downgrade to OS 10.5?

Version: 2004 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel My excel is very unstable ever since I upgraded to snow leopard. It crashes the computer, going to blue screen and then restarting. I have seen this issue mentioned many times.
Firstly, is there a fix coming soon?
Secondly, will the problem go away if I go back to leopard (and scrap the snow)?

Apple just released 10.6.2 today - could you please try upgrade to this release and see whether this crash continues?
