Will frames always be supported?

Does anyone know for sure if Microsoft is committed to keeping frames in
Word? I use frames a lot in my documents, but I worry (hopefully
unnecessarily) that frames might not be supported in future versions.

I really hope they keep frames because I rely on them a lot. Thanks for your
input!

In that the Envelope Address style still uses a Frame, there is no
indication that Frames are on the way out.
