Yes, as will pretty much all of our products there is an on going
development cycle so we are developing versions of office for the next few
years at the very least.
I cannot comment on release cycles at this time for future version of the
Microsoft Office product suites.

Office 2004 is already available, but it is for Macintosh computers.
The next version of Office for Windows will probably be released in 2006.

The next version of Office will (probably) be released sometime in 2006,
though no date has been set. Offie 2004 is the Mac equivalent of 2003.

I was joking really, and I have been around in these newsgroups long enough
to know what they are about,, but I may still change my name..

So if one is using Office XP in a WinXP environment and
there's no *urgent* need to upgrade to Office 2003 at this
time, does it make sense to wait for Office 2004 (or
whatever the next release is) at this juncture?
